If you are eligible to receive free legal help through Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas, there are several ways to apply: by phone, in-person at some clinics, and online. Local offices are also meeting with some applicants in person, but you should call the office nearest you to ask about applying.

If your legal aid application is accepted, you will work directly with various members of our staff, depending on your situation, including attorneys, social workers, and paralegals.

To qualify for legal aid, you must meet the household income requirements, have a civil legal issue that we support, be a legal citizen or non-citizen, and have a legal issue in or live within our service area.
