Plainview Office Priorities & Community Involvement
The Plainview office of Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas participates in a variety of outreach activities in most of our 10 counties and works closely with the Crisis Center of the Plains. Our staff members are on the boards of the local Salvation Army and Wee Care Child Center.
Our Equal Justice Volunteer Program (EJVP) coordinator assists the Hale County Bar president to prepare for meetings, and networks with attorneys to encourage pro bono participation.
Several staff members attend a monthly CASE meeting (Community Agencies Serving the Elderly) and often make presentations on relevant civil legal issues for groups and organizations.
