The Fort Worth office of Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas, which serves seven of our firm’s 114 counties, is in the unique position of serving clients in both urban and rural areas.
In Tarrant County, we are fortunate to partner with a variety of agencies, which helps all of us to better serve our client communities through cross-referrals and information sharing. We also have staff onsite at several community partner locations including One Safe Place, MHMR, and the Center for Transforming Lives. In addition, we perform outreach at various courts, including veteran treatment courts and Justice of the Peace courts; domestic violence and homeless shelters; food pantries; libraries; and community colleges.
The Equal Justice Volunteer Program of the Fort Worth office also partners with the Tarrant County Bar Association, L. Clifford Davis Legal Association, Tarrant County Family Law Bar Association, and Texas A&M University School of Law to support our robust pro bono volunteer program.
