The Denton office of Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas works closely with all domestic violence shelters in our five-county service area, including Denton County Friends of the Family, Wise Hope, and Abigail’s Arms.
We attend the Denton County Homeless Veterans Stand Down each year, and conduct outreach at the American Legion Hall in Denton, Christian Community Action in Lewisville, North Central Texas College in Gainesville, and the First United Methodist Church in Decatur.
We regularly attend local bar meetings, including the Wise/Jack/Montague Women’s Bar Association, and have become known for our attendance at health and social service fairs throughout our service area.
