Medicare EligibilityMedicare Eligibility

Individuals who are at least 65 years old and have paid Medicare taxes are typically eligible for Medicare coverage. There are additional savings programs and assistance for those with low incomes.
Medicaid EligibilityMedicaid Eligibility
Medicaid is funded by both the federal and state governments to help provide medical coverage for low-income individuals and families. Eligibility for Medicaid is based on income, household size, age, disability status, and more. Those who receive Medicaid benefits get health services through contracted organizations.
CHIP EligibilityCHIP Eligibility
The Children’s Health Insurance Program, or CHIP, is a government-funded health coverage program for children in low- to moderate-income families who do not qualify for Medicaid. Eligible children must be legal U.S. citizens or permanent residents under 18 years old.
